Good evening Tennessee, the nomination speeches are complete and each of the candidates gave excellent presentations. Currently the first round of voting for our presidential nominee is complete. The number of delegates approved to vote in the first round is 652. The following candidates received the following first round votes:

1. Mr. Root - 123 - 20%

2. Dr. Ruwart - 152 - 25%

3. Mr. Phillies - 49 - 8%

4. Mr. Jingozian - 23 - 4% 

5. Mr. Gravel - 71 - 11%

6. Ms. Smith - 6 -  1%

7. Mr. Barr - 153 - 25%

8. Mr. Kubby - 41 - 7%

 These numbers are pretty close there were some votes for Ron Paul and others that were not included in the total. Under the current bylaws those with less than 5% support will drop out for the next round. That will be Christine Smith and Micheal Jingozian. Mr. Jingozian just gave his concession speech and recommended that his votes go to Mr. Gravel in the second round. Ms. Smith also gave a powerful speech condeming the Libertarian Party for putting Mr. Barr in first place on the first ballot. She received an equal round of applause and boos at the same time. It is going to get interesting from here forward.

Update - 2nd round voting:

Second round voting is complete with Mr. Barr still in the lead with 188 votes (30%). Now Doctor Ruwart has moved into second place with 162 (26%). Mr. Root is in third place with 138 (22%). Mr. Gravel is in fourth place 73 (12%). Mr. Phillies is in fifth place 36 (6%). Mr. Kubby 32 (5%).  Now Mr. Kubby will drop out and the third round will begin. Steve has just gave his concession speech and throwed his support behind Mary.

 Update - Third round of Voting:

1. Bob Barr - 186 votes

2. Mary Ruwart - 186 votes

3. Wayne Alan Root - 146 votes

4. George Phillies - 31 votes

5. Mr. Gravel - 78 votes

Mr. Phillies will now drop out. George just gave a great concession speech letting everyone know that….The enemy is NOT in this room.

Update - Fourth Round of Voting

1. Bob Barr - 207 votes (32%)

2. Mary Ruwart - 207 votes (32%)

3. Wayne Alan Root - 149 votes (24%)

4. Mike Gravel - 76 votes (12%)

 Mr. Gravel will now drop out.

Update - Fifth Round Voting

1. Bob Barr - 223 votes (36%)

2. Mary Ruwart - 229 votes (37%)

3. Wayne Alan Root - 165 votes (26%)

Wayne Alan Root drops out for the next round. Mr. Root has just announced his support for Mr. Barr and the alliance of a Barr/Root ticket for 08′.

Update - Sixth Round Voting

1. Bob Barr - 324 votes (54%)

2. Mary Ruwart - 276 votes (46%)

Bob Barr wins the Presidential nomination of the Libertarian Party. Congratulations Bob!
