Carter County -  Tennesseans enjoyed a sales tax holiday this past weekend on back-to-school items, including clothing and computers — the second one this year. However, with Tennessee feeling a budget crunch, sales tax holidays may be few and far between in the future. However, many Tennesseans, including Carter Countians, would like to see the sales tax removed from food items.
