I always love the statist arguments that say red light cameras are for our safety only and that they are not about money.  First come the redlight cameras, then comes devices like these, and finally the authoritarians will be demanding these.  The speed that these technologies are expanding into our lives is unbelievable. Libertarians are sounding the alarm and letting the citizenry know that we should not tolerate these intrusive spies into our society.

If you believe that the constitution protects us against the tools of tyranny then it is time to do something about these things. The Libertarian Party welcomes all that want to join the fight with us.  We encourage everyone to get involved at whatever level they feel comfortable. Run for office, start a county affiliate and organize locally, join a meetup group or facebook group, attend a local LPTN meeting, start a blog, go to a protest, call your State Representative, or write a letter to the editor.  At the very least, make a donation to the Libertarian Party of Tennessee in order for us to carry on the fight for you. The LPTN does a variety of things to promote freedom within our state. Everything from running candidates and fighting for ballot access down to attending county commission meetings and writing ‘letters to the editor’. All these things are important for not only teaching the Libertarian Philosophy, but effecting political change through the grassroots freedom movement. So what are you waiting for?
